STRIKE INFO | Possible strike on October 20

Since last November, negotiations have been underway with union representing inspectors, regulators, dispatchers, trainers, and vehicle maintenance foremen.

Despite sustained efforts and a genuine desire to reach an agreement, the union filed on October 14 a notice of an unlimited general strike, set to take effect next Monday, October 20.

We therefore have a critical window to find a way forward and reach an agreement. We are confident that it is still possible to find a fair solution for everyone.

Should the discussions reach a deadlock, an unlimited general strike would be initiated by the union starting next Monday.

In the absence of these managers who ensure daily a safe network for both our employees and our customers, no bus service would be provided on Monday. Only paratransit and on-demand transport services would be maintained.

We recommend you make alternative transportation arrangements for Monday, October 20, such as carpooling or active transportation. Whenever possible, teleworking is also suggested.
