May 24-25 - Tamarack Ottawa Race - Detours and service adjustments in the downtown areas of Hull and Ottawa

When: Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th 

Hours:  

  • Saturday : 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. approximately  
  • Sunday : 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. approximately 

Reason: Streets closed due to the Tamarack d’Ottawa race

Saturday, May 24th : 

  • No detour planned
  • Delays are expected downtown Ottawa

Sunday, May 25th: 

All stops located in the following sectors will not be in service : 

  • Ottawa 
  • Alexandre-Taché Boulevard between Gatineau Park and Maisonneuve Boulevard
  • Saint-Joseph Boulevard between des Allumettières and Alexandre-Taché Boulevards
  • Downtown Hull 
  • Montcalm Street
  • Promenade du Portage 
  • Eddy Street
  • Saint-Rédempteur Steeet between Wellington Street and des Allumettières Boulevard 
  • Wellington Street between Montcalm and Eddy Streets 
  • Laurier Street between Maisonneuve and des Allumettières Boulevards 
  • Maisonneuve Boulevard between des Allumettières and Sacré-Cœur Boulevards 
  • Corridor Rapibus:
  1. Between Montcalm and Alexandre-Taché Boulevard
  2. Between Montclair Boulevard and ecocentre (for route 800 towards Lorrain station only) 

* Depending on traffic congestion, the service may also be disrupted : 

  • Laurier Street between des Allumettières Boulevard and Dussault Street 

We invite you to prioritize stops that are closest to the beginning and/or end of the detour. Below are the recommanded stops for each affected route in the area:

Route 31 : 

  • Towards Laurier/Laval: Sacré-Cœur/Kent (#2660) 
  • Towards Cégep Gabrielle-Roy : Place d’Accueil (#2711) or Sacré-Cœur/Kent (#2657) 

Route 33 : 

  • Towards Laurier/Laval : des Allumettières/Saint-Rédempteur (#2703) 
  • Towards POB Freeman : Place d’Accueil (#2711) or des Allumettières/Saint-Rédempteur (#2704) 

Routes 34, 55 et 59 : 

  • Towards Laurier/Laval : Alexandre-Taché/Bégin (#2026) or des Allumettières/Saint-Joseph (#2512) 
  • Towards POB Allumettières : Place d’Accueil (#2711) or des Allumetières/Saint-Joseph (#2514) or Alexandre-Taché/Bégin (#2028) 

Routes 37, 38 et 371 

  • Towards Laurier/Laval: des Allumetières/Saint-Joseph (#2512-#2514) 
  • Towards Cégep Gabrielle-Roy or Freeman : Place d’Accueil (#2711) or des Allumetières/Saint-Joseph (#2512-#2514) 

Route 67 : 

  • Towards Laurier/Laval : des Allumettières/Laurier (#2691) 
  • Towards de la Cité station : Place d’Accueil (#2711) or Fournier/Henri-Gauthier (#2717) 

Route 400 : 

  • Towards Laurier/Laval : Station Montcalm bretelle #1 (#8021)  
  • Towards Lorrain station : Place d’Accueil (#2711) or Station Montcalm bretelle #2 (#8020) 

Route 800 : 

  • Towards POB Allumettières : Station les Galeries #1 (#8031) or des Allumettières/Saint-Joseph (#2514) 
  • Towards Lorrain station : des Allumettières/Saint-Joseph (#2512) or take route 400 on the Rapibus corridor

Important informations : 

  • Last stop for all routes : Laval/Laurier (#2609) 
  • First stop for all routes : Place d’Accueil est (#2711) 
  • If you wish to go downtown Hull, please get off at the Laurier/Laval
  • If you need to make a transfer, we encourage you to use the Maisonneuve/Papineau stop 
  • Departures from Place d'Accueil will take place at the scheduled time shown in Plani-bus at the Portage/Hôtel-de-Ville stop
  • You may be redirected to a stop that your route does not usually serve
  • Stops located along the detour will allow boarding and/or exiting for all routes, even if they are not listed on the bus stop sign
  • The Place d'Accueil stop will not be accessible via Place du Centre. You will need to access it via Laval, Laurier and Maisonneuve Streets
  • Service in certain areas may be modified depending on how the situation evolves 
  • Delays are expected. Please plan more time for your travel
  • The times mentioned are approximate
