Visitors who are temporarily living in Gatineau as well as in the municipalities of Cantley and Chelsea and are eligible for Para transit service

Visitors who are temporarily living in Gatineau as well as in the municipalities of Cantley and Chelsea, and are eligible for Para transit service where they live, may enjoy the benefits of STO Para transit service1, subject to service availability and registration.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

If you are not already registered with STO Para Transit services you must do so at least one week prior to your first transportation demand.

Ottawa residents eligible for Para transit service

Ottawa residents, who are eligible for Para transit service where they live, may enjoy the benefits of STO Para transit service1 from the following locations. These services are subject to service availability and registration.

Service is offered to and from the following locations:

  • Rideau Centre, at 60 George Street in Ottawa.
  • Any area served by the STO in the Province of Quebec.
FARE STRUCTURE

Please note that the same fare structure as that offered to STO bus passengers applies to Para transit service. The reciprocity agreements in force between STO and OC Transpo of the city of Ottawa are also applicable.

SPECIAL EVENTS

When OC Transpo does not offer direct accessible transportation to the events serviced by STO held in the City of Gatineau as well as in the municipalities of Cantley and Chelsea, STO undertakes to provide its Para Transit services to Ottawa residents requiring accessible transportation. These services are subject to service availability and registration.

In such events, STO Para transit service1 will be offered to and from the following locations:

  • Any OC Transpo bus stop located in Gatineau.
  • Events sites in Gatineau, Cantley or Chelsea.
  • Rideau Centre, at 60 George Street in Ottawa.
