The Multi: The STO's New Smart Card

Don't wait any longer to get your Multi!

Over the past few months, you have probably seen advertising on the buses encouraging you to exchange your Passe-Partout Plus smart card for the new Multi card. If you haven't already done so, then now is the time, because starting June 15, you will no longer be able to exchange your Passe-Partout Plus at the recharging sites.

Furthermore, starting July 1, the Passe-Partout Plus will no longer be accepted on buses. From now until then, an orange light will light up when you pass your card in front of the reader to warn you that you must replace it. Don't get caught short!

Your Multi means:

Even more flexibility!

  • Your preferred transit passes and tickets all together on a single card, ready to go with you.
  • A brand new e-wallet to pay for occasional trips and supplements.
  • Paper-less transfers on the entire STO system.

Coming soon:

  • Electronic tickets.
  • Simplified validation on OC Transpo with the Presto system.

When to get it

Students:

You will obtain a Multi card when you renew your Student status (at a fee of 8 $, tax exempt). Get it at one of our Service Points or at Issuing and Recharching Centre.

Please note that, as of September 30, 2012, Students Passe-Partout Plus smart cards are not valid.

Adults (Basic fares) and seniors :

Go to one of the following locations to get your Multi for FREE in exchange for your current Passe-Partout Plus pass.

FIDÉLITÉ or EMPLOYER program members:

If you are enrolled in the FIDÉLITÉ program (annual pass purchased by pre-authorized monthly debit payments) or EMPLOYER program (annual pass purchased by deductions at source), you must get a Multi card. It’s free, so take advantage of it!
