Infobus service

This service gives the time that the next 2 buses on your route will be passing your stop. It is available by text messaging, on the STO's mobile site and by telephone.

PLEASE NOTE: The Infobus telephone service has a new single access number

Call 819 778-5555 and follow the voice prompts to enter your usual Infobus number or new bus stop number.

The new bus stop numbers appear in Plani-Bus, are gradually being added to bus stop signs and are in the next edition of the User's Guide.

Infobus by text messaging (SMS)

Just text your usual 4-digit Infobus number or bus stop number to 819778 and receive an SMS instantly telling you the time arrival time for the next 2 buses at your stop.

Tips!

  • Trips marked with an asterisk (*) indicate the last trip of the day.
  • Add STO (# 819778) to your contacts to simplify your Infobus requests.

Infobus service

Text at 819 778 the 4 digits Infobus number associated to your bus route (located at the right of your bus route number on the old bus stop sign) or text the 4 digits of your bus stop number (located at the top on the new bus stop sign)

Bus routes shown in purple are peak period routes. They are in service from Monday to Friday during peak hours and travel in the direction of traffic flow.

Bus routes shown in black are regular routes. They are in service from Monday to Sunday throughout the day, unless specified otherwise (see F.)

Transit map

The transit map gives an overview of all the bus routes and their transfer points. It is displayed in some Rapibus stations and in many bus shelters in the system.

Routes and schedules information display

This sign shows the route and time points for the bus routes serving a stop. Infopost displays are located at the busiest bus stops on the main arteries in the system and at the local platform stops at the Rapibus stations.

Information wall

There is also the Portes de quartier: Un nom, un lieu, une identité display. A concept on panels that highlights the history and heritage of each neighbourhood around a station.

Variable message sign (VMS)

A VMS displays the real time that the next buses will be passing, along with general messages. They are located on the Rapibus corridor platforms and inside De la Cité station (TV screens).

User's Guide

The User's Guide groups the information about schedules and bus routes (published in the fall only). It is published twice a year, in the fall and in the summer.

Where to get it

  • Download a PDF version from the Web site (always up-to-date)
  • Pick up a printed version at the 3 service points (for $2) and in the buses, only for a short time after publication (one week before the service changes take effect).
