Solicitation and philanthropy
Requests aimed at soliciting STO customers for commercial or advertising purposes will not be approved. Even if the profits go to a charitable cause, the sale of consumption products will not be tolerated on the system. STO customers may not be approached in person on our system for the purpose of promoting a product or service or to ask them to respond to a survey or questions on any topic.
The STO reserves the right to review customer solicitation proposals for charitable activities and to jointly coordinate the activity if it feels that the project is constructive and of interest to its customers and helps mobilize people in the community.
The STO supports two causes
For a number of years, the STO has been supporting Centraide Outaouais and the Fondation du Centre de santé et de services sociaux de Gatineau through fundraising campaigns directed at its employees.
