Without a supplement
All passes, the Passe-temps and STO transfers are accepted without a supplement on OC Transpo regular routes and the O-Train.
Proof of validity may be requested at any time by an OC Transpo representative and is required when you travel. Keep your receipt with you, unless you have a FIDÉLITÉ Program annual pass. The receipt may be requested as a proof of purchase. If so:
- Your Multi card should be recharged and valid for the period matching the receipt;
- The number on the receipt should be the same as the number on your Multi card, and must be legible (riders are responsible for ensuring it is legible).
Note that you can have your receipt reissued at no cost at the STO retail outlets.
With a supplement
If you ride the OC Transpo express routes, you must pay a supplement of $1.35 or one OC Transpo ticket. Children aged 12 and under and seniors with an STO pass are not required to pay this supplement.
Note also that children aged 5 and under travel for free on the OC Transpo system all time.
STO attendant privileges card
Upon showing the STO attendant privileges card, the attendant accompanying a rider with a visual impairment can travel for free on the OC Transpo system.
Riders who are being accompanied must pay the applicable OC Transpo fare or according to the options mentioned above.
