Load Multi Card Online
To load your card online, you must:
- Have a credit or debit card that allows you to make online purchases (only BMO, RBC, ScotiaBank and TD authorize Interac online payment);
- Have a valid Multi card;
- Have a monthly pass (basic, student or senior), a ZAP or an e-wallet;
- Allow up to 48 hours before taking the bus.
Note: Members of the Fidélité, Employer or Cam-Puce pass programs cannot reload their passes online.
Activating your online transaction and interoperability with OC Transpo
After loading your card online, your Multi card must be validated on an STO bus to activate it.
To travel on the OC Transpo system, you cannot start your trip on an OC Transpo bus, but must first validate your card on the STO system. Once it has been validated, you can use your Multi on an OC Transpo bus to pay your fare (including e-transfers during the 2-hour validity period).
To load your card online for the first time, simply log in to My Profile and click Load my Multi. Make sure you have your Multi card at hand, and your method of payment.
- Passes that can be loaded online must already be programmed on your Multi card. Once you have logged in to your Profile, you can check under “View the contents of my card ” to see what is loaded on your card. Go to one of our service points to have a pass that is not listed among the contents of your card put on your Multi.
If you have not created a profile yet, you can do so easily at My Profile.
Your receipt is not a fare payment
Just a reminder that your receipt is no longer accepted as proof of validity of your Multi card when you pay your fare. Instead, it is used to validate your transaction at a retail outlet. We advise you to keep it as a proof of purchase.
