The STO cares about the
comfort of its passengers. However, it is important
for all passengers to make an effort in order
to benefit from cleanliness, calm and order,
and safety on the bus.

For CALM and
ORDER...
 |
Lower the volume
of headsets and avoid cell phone conversations
on the bus... it’s a question of respect! |
For the SAFETY of
other passengers...
 |
Carry a backpack
by its handle and place it at your feet
to reduce the space you take up and avoid
injuring other people. |
 |
Small pets must
travel in cages! |
 |
Give your seat to
elderly passengers, people with reduced
mobility or pregnant women... it’s
a question of being polite! |
 |
It is important
to use the bus stops determined by the
STO... it’s a question of safety!
After 9:00 pm,
the courtesy stop is specifically for
passengers who are alone and, for safety
or mobility reasons, wish to get off closer
to their destination or at a spot that
has better lighting than their usual stop.
Simply inform the bus driver, who will
then be able to stop the vehicle at the
safest location between two bus stops. |
 |
For the
SAFETY of your child and other passengers...
Fold strollers before boarding the bus
and carry your child in your arms, as
set out in the by-law prescribing the
conduct of persons on STO vehicles.
Use an umbrella
stroller that is easy to fold, and put
the stroller in the designated stowage
area on the bus. |

 |
Cleanliness around
the stops, in the shelters and on the
bus is important… all passengers
should do their share by putting garbage
in the cans provided for this purpose! |
 |
Individuals who
write graffiti on or damage STO property
(bus shelters, buses, information displays,
etc.) are liable to criminal charges.
Advise the driver discreetly or call Crime
Stoppers at 1-800-267-8477. |
