The consultation process
We gave residents the opportunity to share their views as part of the opportunity study.
Discussion groups were organized in June 2016, and a forum in September 2016. The background and issues leading to the study were presented to residents.
In October and November 2016, residents shared their views during the public consultation. Finally, in December 2016, a Léger survey based on certain questions asked during the public consultation was distributed to a random sample of Gatineau residents.
The public consultation
422 residents took part in the consultation.
81% of the respondents were residents of the sector concerned by the study.
72% of the respondents were public transit users, and 28% were not.
